daddy took a break

Whew that was a good break from writing. I don't feel so bad about it, because one of my favorite photobloggers has been on hiatus since late November, but I've got better excuses than just "being busy"

I've been enjoying the overwhelming emotions and daily events of being a new father, parent, development guide or whatever a proper title would be. Along w/ fatherhood some other less significant events have happened in our lives. We moved into a different apartment and Shawana's mom lives w/ us now and I've acquired some new characters for work place talk. So in due time I'll get to all the goodness that the world has missed in what seems like forever. And also I add my thoughts to all of those affected by the tsunami that happened in late december. That was a horrific event that time can only make you forget it happened, but one can never forget the pain of so many. --silence - and also I say "bad form" to those who have tried to take advantage of this situation by making scams or jokes.

The boys: Back to a happier tone. Honestly I do smile brightly when thinking about Caleb and Christian, before I get too far let me take you back to 12/8/04 - I was at my desk doing the normal stuff and a little bit before nine I get a call from Shawana. I thought her prenatal visit was going to be on the 9th, but I was wrong her appt. had already happened. She seemed pretty calm when she said Dr. Prieto (i believe) was going to go ahead and admit her into Bayfront Medical. They were going to take the boys today..
