time is running out

I'm glad that April is coming to a close. It has been a crazy month. Most of it was spent enjoying the "home theater" system in our now cramped living room. I'm proud to own it, but that sure does make buying stuff like food seem impossible. Tonight I will be working on what the new site will look like. I've run through so many ideas and concepts that I've decided to settle on one. I know that working on a personal site is very difficult, because the worries of what your peers will think. I know designers, artists, web people and photographers who are going to expect quality stuff. I don't want to let anybody down, but it looks like I could work on developing this site for at least another 3 months. That's not going to work because my digital collection is getting huge and Shawana is getting tired of looking at my slideshows. Especially when they are massed w/ pictures of herself.
Some things that are still going to happen for this year will be Ross' cd. It does suck that Ross just got bit by "the man", but I hear his spirits are still up and he's still sucking down spirits. Both which are vital to making a heart-felt folk album. I'm also looking forward to practice some automobile photography of the one, the only G35 coupe. Yeah, its weak but that will have to suffice until we can make it back to Road Atlanta. I sure did love the 8am wake up sound of engines, I mean loud engines roaring over the hill and past my tent.

Stay cool, more info, light, pictures and sounds are coming your way.

damned

Reminded again that nothing is here. So here is a short rundown... Shawana got a new car, and Infinitii G35. This makes me want to buy a new car something fierce. I love the Rav4 because it has done wonders in getting me around town, but there are so many other cool forms of transportation out there. Unfortunately I would have to pay for them. Damn! I found out that an old friend, Jessica is going to have her first baby, due in November. Congrats to her. And I'm looking for a new job, just because thats something to always do.

a break from nothing

I'm taking a break from this weblog this week. I'm not going to concentrate on making any entries. I know it seems that I don't make enough entries already to be taking a break from it. But this week I have some stuff to finish and work on. One of them is a different look to this weblog, so i'll be experimenting w/ the layout this week. So cheer up and look for change.

DiscGolf Tourney

Yesterday was a fun time in Orlando. The group gathered at Turkey Lake Park in Orando for the 2nd leg of the frisbee golf tournament we have setup. I missed the first event in Tampa which got our team name changed to Team "No Show" It was a beautiful day to be sucking at disc golf, and I did.
Besides the disc golf and picnic fun in the park, I got a chance to use my canon aps camera again. Its been awhile since I've shot w/ the canon due to the recent arrival of the digital olympus to the house. Shawana was using the olympus for the birthday party she was hosting at the apartment. I used one roll yesterday at the park, and it felt good. The digital camera is great, but to have the quickness and tactile control of a film camera is totally different. Anyhow I'll open debate of film and digital cameras later.

did what?

When we went to the Chihuly exhibit in St. Petersburg w/ Alex, Amy, Alice, James, and Mandie I got a chance to take a great shot of Alex helping me properly salute an H2 sitting in the lot. The pic can be seen on FUH2.com for March 29th.

early start

Across the street from my office is a convenience store. Its about 8:25 and I got to work early so I went over there to get one of those no carb arizona ice teas. There great and good for diabetics. Anyhow the guy in front of me was picking up cigarettes, a candy bar and a 32 ounce Heineken. Good lord isn't it a little early to buy alcohol. He wasn't dressed in sweats or anything, he looked like anybody else heading to work. Dunedin people are so odd.

before its said...

Hey my new website is up.. alright April Fool's. So before its said, "I know you've been waiting and debating for ooh so long. Just starving like marvin" for the new downbridge. I used some old LL Cool J to soften the blow that the site is now a month late. Its closer but not finished, so please hold tight. It shall be up in the month of April I promise. And I did mean April 2004.
I'm also looking forward to doing some music production with Ross and company. April seems like a good month to start.
