It happened

wow, I finally found some time to get back to my computer. So I'll begin to fill in the details of our journey to parenthood. The boys were born December 8th at 4:59 and 5:00 pm. Woohoo - will add more later.

waiting... more

Its extremely hard to get up and go to work these days. Shawana has been lucky enough to be granted disability so she can stay at home. Now that the time is getting closer for the boys to get here, she is feeling the weight of them more. She has had lots of difficulty in just laying on the couch. Hopefully the boys will come soon and all her pains will go away. waiting still hurts.

today's doctor visit

I do love to leave work early. Especially when its a visit to our ob/gyn to take a look into the twins' world and see how they are doing. Today I was chipper and too excited as our doctor today predicted that the boys will probably arrive in less than 10 days. It's a rough estimate, but it again cemented the idea that Shawana won't be pregnant forever, the boys are coming and they are coming quick.

I must've been babbling on about the good news all the way to the car. Its officialy the final stretch on our journey to becoming parents. How great is that! See, I'm still overjoyed.

they wanna talk to me?

I play video games. Yes, I'm a grown man and I still play video games. I know I don't stand alone so this isn't anything new. Codemasters is a company whose games I've been interested in. They make the colin mcrae series of rally racing and the pro race driver game, yes there is a theme there. But its pretty cool, they are inviting some of their registerd users to chat and help develop their next series of racing games. How cool? well its really cool, because w/ the twins coming (37 weeks today) I can't spend my money like a little kid anymore. For participating they are giving away a free game. Yes, I'm in!

New Year/New Art

Rossists time again. The official invitation to the Fourth Annual Rossist Art Trade/New Year's Eve Partay has been sent out. If you didn't get one contact me and I'll get you one too. Once again a group of free-thinking artists of sorts will come together in Orlando to swap art, stories, music and this year, I'm gonna participate as an artist and a patron.

I've been a hobby photographer for a long time, well not really too long, but I haven't submitted anything to the show. So this year w/ a bunch of help from Ofoto, I'll have some pieces to show. Plus I'm getting my regular site back to the condition of art store front by Christmas.

its about time

One of my first ever email accounts was an msn account I started when I was using their dial up isp. Oh thank god for broadband. Anyway, after i stopped using their service my msn email account privileges dropped to same level of a hotmail account. 2mb of storage and limited everything. Well thanks to modern competition in the internet age msn finally made some much need improvements.

Now I've got 250mb of storage. Yes, I can receive attachments. Even better I don't have to be quick to clean out my inbox anymore when the Rossists' group sends me emails, because I would be hurt if I missed any. Even better is now when you click a link it doesn't pop-up the page inside some hotmail window. Hooray for MSN.
